A graduate of Syracuse University, Jared Maites earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a minor in business. In 2008, he began working with Potomac Fine Foods as a route sales representative and field marketing specialist and then became director of manufacturing. Throughout the following years, Jared Maites served as production supervisor at Land O’Lakes, production manager at Snap Kitchen, and director of manufacturing at Cava Foods.
In 2017, Mr. Maites transitioned from the food industry to real estate as an agent with Long and Foster. Honored as rookie of the year for his work with the firm, he appeared in the Washingtonian Magazine. He continues his work in the field with Compass Real Estate, assisting clients with the purchase of residential properties and the achievement of their homeowner dreams.
Mr. Maites gives back to the community through fundraising events such as Cycle for Survival. A former tattoo artist, he enjoys artistic hobbies ranging from painting to decorating and designing new homes. He also continues to develop his skills in the culinary arts.
